    • Indications: Faecal occult blood positive, rectal bleeding, unexplained anaemia, change of bowel habits, abdominal pain, surgical planning
  • Surveillance
    • Indications: Family or personal history of colorectal cancer or polyps, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
  • Therapeutic
    • Use: Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC), Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR), perforation management

  • Diagnostic
    • Indications: Treatment-resistant reflux, unexplained anaemia, suspected upper gastrointestinal tract diseases (such as ulcers, coeliac disease, lactose deficiency, malabsorption due to enzyme deficiency), abdominal pain
  • Surveillance
    • Indication: Barrett’s oesophagus, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), gastro-duodenal ulcers
  • Therapeutic
    • Use: insertion of a feeding tube (such as NasoGastric tube, NGT, Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG)), removal of foreign body, banding of oesophageal varices
