Mr Ming Ho completed general surgical training in Newcastle and obtained the fellowship of the College of Surgeons in Australia (FRACS). He was in the UK to further his training in coloproctology in 2017 and obtained his membership of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) and the fellowship of the College of Surgeons (FRCSEd).

Being a proficient surgeon, Mr. Ho performs a variety of surgeries including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, bowel resection, and hernia repair; breast surgeries; haemorrhoids and skin surgeries.

He is accredited by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and the Joint Advisory Group on gastrointestinal endoscopy of the UK (JAG) to perform colonoscopy and gastroscopy. Mr. Ho is GESA-recertificated for colonoscopy.

THD® Anopress is a newer technology to assess anorectal problems, e.g. rectocele, faecal incontinent, chronic constipation, anismus, obstructed defecation, rectal prolapse, obstetric anal sphincter injuries (OASIS). This service is provided by Mr. Ho and it is currently bulkbilled via Medicare.

He has clinics at Greenslopes Private and Montserrat Hospitals. He is also visiting Rockhampton fortnightly. Mr. Ho holds an appointment in the Public sector at the Princes Charles Hospital as a Specialist Surgeon.
